Conveniently located approximately ten minutes from downtown Fairbanks, the Tanana Valley Campground and RV Park is an ideal location for visitors looking for a place to camp and take in the scenic beauty of Alaska.
The Tanana Valley Campground and RV Park features a range of camping areas, including electric and non-electric sites. What’s more, each campsite has a fire pit, picnic table, and free internet access with Wi-Fi. Showers are included in the price, and there are also coin-operated laundry facilities. Each of the camping areas are surrounded by multitudes of gorgeous trees, providing visitors with the privacy they need.
When not relaxing in the tranquility of their campsite, guests can embark on a wide variety of fun activities. Fairbanks, which is the second largest city in Alaska, boasts a number of tourist attractions. Our campgrounds are located near the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center, and guests can actually take Denali shuttle buses to different attractions in Fairbanks, as well as different destinations in Alaska and the Arctic.

Please be aware that our campground is part of the Fairgrounds, and events and activities including the Fair (July 25 - August 3) can be loud but typically settle down after 10 PM.

The Tanana Valley Campground and RV Park is easy to navigate and it provides guests with a plethora of entertainment options. The campground features both electric and non-electric sites, and while hanging out in their camping area, guests can enjoy an assortment of amenities, including fire pits, scenic hiking and biking areas, picnic tables, and free Wi-Fi.
In addition, visitors at the Tanana Valley Campground and RV Park are less than ten minutes from downtown Fairbanks, an area where guests can partake in various activities.

Double RV site with two 50 amp hookup: $100 per night

These prices include four people per site. Each additional person is $5 per night. Dogs on leashes are more than welcome!
Our guests can pay in advance online with credit or debit card, or cash in person.
Our summer season runs from May 22nd through September 15th 2025.

Campground Information
The Campground and RV Park has 40 sites in a private wooded area. There are a myriad of amenities that guests can enjoy, including fire pits, picnic tables, and free Wi-Fi internet access. There are also coin operated laundry machines for our guests to use and an ATM machine in the laundry room.
In addition, there is fresh water and an RV dump station for guests, and generators run from 8am to 9pm.
Outdoor enthusiasts will surely enjoy the expansive hiking and biking trails that are accessible right from our campground! From paved bike paths, to wooded trails, you can embark on a journey that will give you an up close and personal look at Alaska’s beauty.
On Wednesdays, Saturdays in the summer, there is a Farmer’s Market nearby that offers delectable Alaskan produce and other goods. Just down the road we have our neighbors, Creamer's Field, where you can take an easy stroll and enjoy nature.

CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY
We know that plans can go astray. However, we rely on reservations and cancellations cannot always be filled.  So, to be fair to all concerned:
RV Sites:
For stays 7 days (1 weeks) or more: Cancellations made greater than 7 days prior to arrival date get a reservation refund minus a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations greater than 72 hours, but less than 7 days prior to arrival date, are charged 50% of the reservation total. If cancellation is made less than 72 hours, no refund will be given.
For stays less than 7 days: Cancellations greater than 72 hours before arrival date get a full refund minus a $25 fee. For cancellations under 72 hours prior to arrival date are charged either a 1-night stay or 50% of the reservation total, whichever is greater.
Campers who are No Call/No Show for their site will have their reservation cancelled without a refund.
We do not offer refunds for inclement weather.
Cancellation requests must be received by 2 p.m. AST by phone or email.
